FACILITIES
THE ALMA SPORTSFIELDS are three blocks away from Forres Preparatory School and are hired as a venue for our sports activities. Transport to and from the fields is arranged by the school.
THE PLAYGROUND, with its shady trees and adventure playground is designed for creative play and physical challenges.
THE HARD-SURFACED TENNIS COURT is used for a variety of activities (Playball, Tennissette, Rollerblading, etc.).
THE SWIMMING POOL serves as a venue for formal swimming instruction, as well as recreational use during the holidays and After School Care.
THE SCHOOL HALL has a multi-purpose use: Assembly, Drama, Gymnastics, Ballet, Judo, Music and Movement, School Play.
THE DINING ROOM and kitchen areas are used to serve hot lunch and various activities are set up in this area for After School Care.
THE MULTI-MEDIA ROOM is equipped to facilitate Art, Craft, Clay Modelling and Design Technology. It is also made available for activities during the afternoons.
THE COMPUTER LABORATORY is equipped with 12 computers that are networked and linked to printers and a scanner. In addition to computer lessons, the lab and relevant software are used to facilitate the Special Needs Interaction Programme.
THE RESOURCE CENTRE provides teachers and pupils with books, reading schemes, pictures, posters, magazines, videos and tapes that support and enrich the classroom curriculum.
THE PRESCHOOL CAMPUS has extensive playgrounds with adventure playareas. It also has a mini-hall for music and movement and other extra-mural activities.
